诗人简介：
1905年生于马萨诸塞州伍斯特市，1926年和1927年分别取得哈佛大学学士和硕士学位。二战时服役，战后曾在数所大学任教。著有诗集《智性事物》（1930）、《战争护照》（1944）、《斯坦利.库鲁兹诗选》（2000）、《消逝》（1995）、《新诗和随笔》（1985）、《斯坦利.库鲁兹的诗，1928-1978》、《测验树》（1971）、《诗选，1928-1958》等。他的作品被翻译成多种文字，包括俄语、荷兰语、瑞典语、马其顿语、法语、日语、希伯来语及阿拉伯语。
